Reader: I haven't been able to access The McHale Report. Did Trump close you down because your fine commentary cost him the election?

Editor: Funny.

Reader: I'm serious. Did the racists, rednecks, renegades, reactionaries and religious right bigots who comprise the Republican Party convince Google that you were bad for America and needed to be silenced?

Editor: We had a temporary glitch that eliminated us from all search engines. That problem has been resolved and we're moving forward with new resolve.

Reader: Can we expect some nice words giving thanks for our many blessings this Thanksgiving?

Editor: I doubt it.

Reader: You're not going to thank the gods for helping Biden defeat Lucifer.

Editor: Is the SOB out of office yet?

Reader: No.

Editor: Until that worthless bastard is condemned to replacing the nut case Sean Hannity, I won't be giving thanks for anything. He is trying everything within his power to steal the election and he won't stop until the Washington D.C. police escort him to the edge of town and threaten him with an immediate arrest if he shows his ugly face in the nation's capital again. 

Reader: Do you think he will be back in four years?

Editor: I don't give that possibility any thought. I just want him out of office as soon as possible.

In history there are events that change the sequence of time, the birth of Jesus Christ the most obvious example. But in communities, nations and the world there are occurrences that will serve as a reference point in the lives of individuals. There is the before and after of the earthquake. Jason "The Jackal" Moody, the new public information officer for the Brownsville Independent School District (BISD), is well-known in political circles.
