BOBBY BLASTS CASTRO 2
BOOBY WITLESS-CERVEZAS: "Where did Erasmo Castro get $10,000 to loan to his own campaign? Cameron County District Attorney still has time to open a grand jury investigation into Castro's application for an occupational license. He clearly committed perjury on how many hours he works at the family business. His goal was to get permission to drive all day. We know Castro is not at work. He lives on the internet. It has been speculated for sometime he is on disability. Castro is the one who pleaded mental incapacity as a defense to his DWI. D.A. Saenz has the authority to open a grand jury investigation into whether or not Castro lied on his occupational license application. The perjury was obvious on its face. This in turn allows Saenz to learn if Castro even has a job and how much he is paid. Cameron County is desperate for at least one case of criminal laundering of campaign money. Saenz has what he needs to open that door into Castro. Maybe Castro does work 12 hours a day. But no one believes it because he is always on the internet. He raised $600 from his alleged 10,000 followers: The total number of donors was a miniscule three: Roman Perez: $100; Michael Rodriguez, who wants Castro's help in a future election: $400; a nursing group: $100. Castro could not raise a penny from AOBE teachers or his followers. Where did the money come for the loans?"
(EDITOR'S NOTE: Booby Witless-Cervezas, who is always plugging The McHale Report and paying homage to its publisher Dr. G.F. McHale-Scully as the source of inspiration for his own blog, has turned Erasmo Castro into a cartoon character: "The king has no clothes!" The publisher of El Brownsville Void is depicting the candidate for the BISD Board of Trustees as a fraud. Some voters would argue that Witless-Cervezas' information isn't new. As evidenced by his brushes with the law, he has a serious drinking problem. After winning a seat on the school board, he had to resigned after a DWI arrest. And his own colleagues barred him from visiting any of the BISD campuses and participating in any extracurricular activities because his behavior concerned them. They pointed to the fact that parents found Castro's comportment unsettling because he was constantly taking selfies of himself in the company of young boys and posting these pictures on his Facebook page. Witless-Cervezas, who intimates that electing Castro to the school board would be a bigger mistake than reelecting President Donald Trump, adds these insights into the dark description of Castro's character. He insists that Cameron County District Attorney needs to open an investigation into Castro for alleged fraud. He asserts that Castro admitted to "mental incapacity" in the wake of his DWI. Witless-Cervezas also urges the D.A. to open yet another investigation for "criminal laundering of campaign money" as well as considering possible "perjury" charges against Castro. If this screed weren't enough, Witless-Cervezas calls Castro a liar and suggests that he is unemployed. While questioning Castro's ability to qualify for a $10,000 loan, the blogger mocks Castro for only raising $600 for his campaign when he brags that he has 10,000 followers and the Association of Brownsville Educator's endorsement. We don't often agree with Witless-Cervezas at The McHale Report even though he continually places us on a pedestal, but his assessment of Castro is 100% correct. His fellow bloggers are tipping their collective hats for a job well-done. The BISD deserves better: "We want to keep our toilets clean," says Maclovio O'Malley, La Voz de los Vatos. "Electing the crude and crass Castro to the board would be akin to splattering the bathroom walls with shit!")
