CHAMBERS BITES THE DUST

BOOBY WITLESS-CERVEZAS: "Court of Criminal Appeals has denied John Chambers' final appeal. Chambers' uphill just got harder in part due to ineffective assistance of counsel. Any Republican running in Cameron County better have a good case and money to beat a Democrat. Nonetheless, it will be like pushing a boulder up a hill for a Republican to win, especially in a county I suspect is very anti-Trump, and rightfully so."

(EDITOR'S NOTE: After 14 felony convictions, 14 misdemeanors, fired as a policemen from one city and asked to stepped down from another according to an Indian Lake city official and accused of stalking women, one a 16-year-old teenager, there comes a time when a sheriff candidate might find himself on the other side of the bars. John Chambers, the Republican candidate for Cameron County Sheriff, lost his final appeal on the 14 misdemeanors and faces sentencing two days after the November 3 election. Witless-Cervezas, who leaves everyone else out to dry, has brought the controversial Chambers inside his humble abode from the rain. His motivations, a Democrat in the past who despises all Republicans, have defied logical explanations except Chambers has been spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on his campaign and there is a suggestion that Witless-Cervezas may have profited from Chambers' generosity. Witless-Cervezas has always advertised himself as Brownsville's unbought blogger, but even nuns eventually lose their virginity. Does Chambers have a chance in hell against Democratic nominee Eric Garza with the election three days away? His critics argue that Chambers didn't have a chance in hell three months ago. A gleeful Garza offered this response when informed about Chambers' losing clash with karma: "Today, justice has finally been served! John Chambers final appeal has been denied. His 14 charges, Tampering with Governmental Records, are punishable by up to a $4,000 fine and/or up to 1 year in jail. His sentencing is set for November 5, 2020. Cameron County deserves a sheriff that will not be on probation or worse, in jail, during his term. I continue to humbly ask for your vote. With your help we can achieve the change we need and the protection we deserve." This is a contest that is going in polar opposite directions. With all the Democratic numbers and machinery behind Garza and a circulating rumor that not even Donald Trump will be endorsing Chambers, the pundits are advising: Bet the house on Garza, particularly when the redneck Republican may be headed to the Big House.
