TRAITORS

Two days ago we had nearly 60 people die from COVID-19 in Brownsville. Sixty people!!! Trump's supporters would immediately counter that only six had died, but The Brownsville Herald had added another zero in order to increase circulation. You can never teach the blind to see even if the cure came from the perverted president himself recommending a glass of bleach three times a day and a miracle: You would see.

Democratic and Republican physicians and politicians are nearly unanimous in three basic protections that average Americans can implement to stop the pandemic's spread: Wear masks, social distance and avoid large gatherings. As a result of Trump's incompetence, the death toll will reach 190,000 by the end of Labor Day weekend. As a result of Trump's arrogance, millions of Americans are ignoring this simple strategy. As two of Trump's supporters said: "We'd rather die than wear masks!" They don't seem to have any problems about taking the rest of us with them.

Is Trump leading his followers or does Trump follow his followers? Trump, by his actions, would rather be dead than wear a mask, social distance and avoid large crowds. He appeared before a crowd in Pennsylvania recently. Disdaining a mask and ignoring social distancing, he told a crowd unmasked and packed together like sardines that there was something psychologically wrong with Joe Biden because the former Vice President allowed his mask to hang from his ear when he would speak publicly. What a sick motherfucker!!!

Now the draft dodger. who skipped military service after developing bone spurs from walking too many golf courses instead of riding in a cart as his father had advised him, is calling soldiers suckers, the dead and wounded losers, visiting a military cemetery inconvenient and arguing against allowing the participation of disabled veterans in parades because their mangled figures detract from the events' pageantry.

These are comments that he has made to members of his own administration. These aren't Democrats ratting on his outrages. These are Republicans. His defenders, puppets infected by the president's pus, march in a straight line like zombies as they stare wild-eyed into the camera and swear that nobody loves a dead Marine more than the president but please don't invite him to the funeral if it's raining because the blond dye might run down his face, thus revealing that he isn't a dumb blond after all. Just dumb.

Anybody who believes that the president isn't incapable of disparaging America's fighting men and woman must deal with the insufferable reality that Fox News, the president's personal propaganda machine, has confirmed many of the allegations in a blasphemous display of the truth. After convincing the network to substantiate his estimated 20,000 lies during his administration, the truth has completely unraveled him.

But the people need only one piece of evidence to comprehend Trump's true character. Senator John McCain, once a Republican candidate for president and a navy pilot who had spent almost six years in a North Vietnamese prison camp, drew Trump's ire because he didn't show abject loyalty to this democratically elected dictator. Angry and frustrated by McCain's dignity and integrity, he infamously blurted, "He's not a war hero. He's a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren't captured."

Trump is presently insisting that he never uttered those words although the video has been all over YouTube for years. He is counting on his fanatical followers refusing to believe their own eyes and instead fulminate that the fake news has created another fake moon landing. These are the same Trump zealots, the heart and soul of the Neo-Nazi movement, who will watch a white policeman shoot an unarmed black man in the back from point-blank range seven times and assert that the response was justified. We can no longer peacefully protest his massive failures without Trump sending his troops into the streets to silence the masses.

We could go on and on, but that isn't our mission in this message. We are no longer going to post any comments that support Trump. Trump is a bad man. Trump is the epitome of evil. Trump is destroying our country. There is no gray area in this assessment. We have an election in November that is black and white. We are staking our futures with Biden and the Democrats because four more years of Trump manipulating his hordes of racists, rednecks, religious right bigots and right-wing billionaires will be the end of civil society in the United States.

In our estimation anyone who pledges his or her allegiance to Trump is betraying our nation. You are members of a cult. You are the victims of a mental disease. This false prophet has snatched your brains. As a result of your willingness to prostrate yourselves before a charlatan rather than the Constitution, you are traitors. Traitors will no longer be welcomed to post comments here. We have drawn our line in the sand. We renounce Trump's America. We are Christian soldiers willing to sacrifice our lives in the crusade for Biden's America. Alleluia!
