TRUMP BURNS HIMSELF

 We wish Donald Trump and his lovely wife Melania a speedy recovery. That is the official statement. If God exists, may he have mercy on the president's black soul. That is also part of the official statement.

It is poetic justice that a mad man who is mentally ill should also be physically ill. Stupidity has consequences.

He was warned again and again not to play with fire, yet time and time again he lit matches without donning a mask, without social-distancing and without avoiding large crowds. He made fun of his foe Joe Biden for not joining him in the stupidity as his mindless marionettes shouted in unison, "Light more matches, Der Fuhrer, and cast them on California. Burn those Democrats to the ground."

Today is October 3. November 3 is the election. We have 31 more days until we decide to topple the dictator or try to survive in a Neo-Nazi state. We have one more day than the usual 30 since we celebrate Halloween on the 31st. 

And the Trump masks were selling like the prostitutes he entertains, but COVID-19 has decided to play a trick rather than rewarding us with a treat. Only Trump's streetwalkers will be working the corners as parents, as fearful as sending their children to school in spite of Trump's talk that there is no reason to fear fear, will keep their doors closed to traffic going in both directions. 

Never has a sinner received his just punishment in real time. Others, the families of the 210,000 Americans who have died because Trump purposely failed the country because he was willing to diminish the deaths of his fellow citizens because his financial concerns were a higher priority, will argue that he is getting off easy. It would have been nice if their departed love ones had had access to a minimum of Trump's care. Only the graduates of the best schools will attend this fool. 

To nobody's surprise, Fox, Trump's propaganda machine, is portraying him as a martyr because he was willing to brave COVID-19 without taking the proper precautions in order to inspire us throw out bodies on the spears of the enemy. But can one qualify as a martyr when the wounds are self-inflicted? Trump is like the man with the concrete brain who believes that mind triumphs over matter. He, therefore, parades around town naked in sub-zero weather until he dies of pneumonia.

If Trump were only stupid, we could continue into the future with the hope that he would eventually cancel himself out when an accumulation of bad decisions that would culminate in his public demise, but among his many other dastardly characteristics, he is evil to the core. And it's a danger that is far more threatening to us than Coronavirus. The good work that COVID-19 has started, thanks to God's intervention, we must finish next month when we declare him DOA politically.
